Two injured in rollover
PERRYSBURG - Two people were injured after a rollover accident at the Interstate 475 entrance ramp from Interstate 75 north Sunday.
Perrysburg Police report that at 12:49 p.m. Larry Rundell, 70, and his wife, Davena, 70, both of Corunna, Mich., were in a truck pulling a camper on the ramp when the camper jackknifed and separated from the truck.
The truck subsequently went off the right side of the roadway and rolled down the embankment.
Larry Rundell was taken by air ambulance to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was reported in critical condition this morning. Davena Rundell was taken to the hospital by Perrysburg EMS and was reported in serious condition this morning.

Sex assault in Bowling Green
Bowling Green Police are investigating a sexual assault reported over the weekend.
The incident was reported Saturday at 1:42 a.m. Police were notified by the emergency room at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, that a female had gone there seeking treatment for a sexual assault that occurred in Bowling Green.
The incident reportedly occurred in the 300 block of North Maple Street.
Additional information was not available due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Honor Flight set to leave as planned
An Honor Flight scheduled Wednesday will occur in the midst of a government shutdown that threatened to cancel the trip.
Honor Flight Northwest Ohio cautioned that it will remain nonpartisan and SDLqimplement a zero-tolerance policy" for political activities or agendas for Wednesday's flight. Literature, signs and activities deemed political in nature will not be permitted on the private property of Grand Aire Inc., and failure to comply could result in removal from the property.

Portage Twp. changes meeting
The Portage Township Trustees have changed their Thursday meeting to Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
It will be held at the township hall at the corner of Huffman & Mermill Roads.
