Trespassing investigated at BG business

The Bowling Green Police Division is currently investigating a criminal damage and trespass incident at The Tanning Center, 248 N. Main, that occurred Sept. 26 at approximately 5:06 a.m.
A white male subject made entry through a door in the rear of the building that was not secure. An inner door was then broken by the suspect, causing several hundred dollars worth of damage. While inside, the male vomited in the one of the tanning rooms.
The Bowling Green Police are asking that those with information regarding the case contact them at (419) 352-2571.

Perrysburg Twp. Police log Sept. activity

LIME CITY - Perrysburg Township Police have released their activity statistics for the month of September.
According to the statistics, offered on their website, police responded to 1,159 calls for service during the month.
During that time, they seized 253 illegal prescription pills with a street value of $7,500; one gram of crack cocaine; 0.08 grams of cocaine; two grams of marijuana; 11 hypodermic needles; three crack pipes; and assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol in an operation that seized 1.2 pounds of marijuana.
Further, the department dealt with two drunk driving incidents, and one stolen vehicle.
Year-to-date, the department has made 907 arrests, including citations.

Kids Workshop at Home Depot

Home Depot will host a Kids Workshop and Fire Safety Day Saturday at its store on South Main Street in Bowling Green, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Free water testing also will be offered.
