Man cited for endangerment
A man was cited Sunday after his young son was found wandering unattended at a North Main Street business.
Bowling Green police report that just before 8 a.m. a caller reported they had found a boy, approximately 2 years old, by himself at the Suds 'N Save Laundromat, 1045 N. Main St.
The boy, wearing green Ninja Turtle pajamas, was identified as the son of Cody Notter, 21, BG, who lives in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue.
An officer found that the door to the apartment was open.
Notter was cited for endangering children.
Stolen vehicle recovered
A vehicle stolen Bowling Green this weekend was recovered following a traffic crash in Toledo.
Bowling Green police report that just after 8 a.m. on Sunday the vehicle, a black 2002 Ford Explorer, was reported stolen during the overnight hours from a parking lot in the 200 block of South Prospect Street.
The keys had reportedly been left in the vehicle.
The Explorer was later recovered by Toledo police that day after it was involved in a crash on the Anthony Wayne Bridge. The three suspects in the vehicle at the time of the crash were arrested and lodged in the Lucas County jail on receiving property charges.
The identities of the suspects were not immediately available from Toledo Police.
Bug exhibit at Levis Commons
PERRYSBURG - A traveling exhibit of larger-than-life bug sculptures by artist David Rogers, of Long Island, NY, is now on exhibit at The Town Center at Levis Commons.
A kick-off event will be held Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. for the Big Bugs.
From 2 to 5 p.m. activities will include: "Bug" inflatables; John Deere Gator race yrack; Build It! arts and crafts; Sensory-Learning Table; and live music provided by InSync DJ Services.
From 5 to 8 p.m. hayride tours of the six Big Bug sculptures will be offered and singer Kelly Broadway will perform live on the boulevard near the fountain.
