North Prospect closed 3 days
North Prospect Street, between East Wooster and East Court Streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, for contractor work relating to the Market Square development.
North Prospect Street will re-open each evening for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

North Main St.  lane closed Mon.
One southbound lane of traffic on North Main Street between Court and Wooster Streets will be closed on Monday from 7 to 5 p.m. for contractor work.   
Parking along that section of North Main Street will also be restricted as well as sidewalk access.

Genealogy group meets Tuesday
The Wood County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society meets Tuesday with its emphasis on the theme of "Taming the Genealogy Mess" for the 2013-2014 program year.
The program committee will start the year off  by describing various numbering systems that are used by genealogists. After the program, the group will move upstairs to the Local History Department for a Library Lock-In.  At this time the computers and resources will be available to work on genealogy research until 9:45 p.m.
The business meeting begins at 6:30 in the Wood County District Public Library meeting room, 251 N. Main St.
Everyone is welcome.

Corn maze opens today in BG
BG Christian Academy will open its Third Annual Corn Maze Saturday.
This year's theme is taken from one of the great American Classics - Charlotte's Web.
Beginning Saturday guests can test their skills in over seven miles of trail through 'The Barn', 'Wilbur', and 'Charlotte's Web'.  The Maize offers three different challenge levels across 20 acres of fun.
Pre-sale tickets are now available in the school office, 1165 Haskins Road for only $5. Tickets are $8 at the gate.
The maze is open weekends through Oct. 27
Hours in September are 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 4 to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
October hours are Fridays, 6 to 10 p.m., Saturdays, 2 to 10 p.m. and Sundays, 4 to 8 p.m.
