Open house at Carter House
In partnership with the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau and "Passport to BG Day," Wood County District Public Library is hosting an open house at the Carter House, 307 N. Church St., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This event is free, and all are invited.

ODOT plans road work
Effective tonight, from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., a short-term closure is possible on the ramp from southbound I-280 to Curtice Road and Woodville Road (Exit 6) for pavement work. Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Ohio 163 between U.S. 20 and Fostoria Road for resurfacing.
Also through November, from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-280 between Navarre Avenue and Woodville Road. Additionally, 11 foot lane width restrictions will be in place on the Walbridge Road entrance ramps to I-280.
Tonight - Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 40s.
Wednesday - Partly cloudy. Highs around 80. A 40-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight. Lows in the lower 60s.
Extended forecast - Partly cloudy Thursday with a 40-percent chance of rain during the day and overnight. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s. Partly sunny Friday with a 50-percent chance of rain during the day, 60 percent overnight. Highs in the lower 80s and lows in the mid 60s. On Saturday, partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 70s.
