State of BGSU address given
Bowling Green State University President Mary Ellen Mazey will give her 2013 State of the University address at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Donnell Theatre at the Wolfe Center for the Arts.
The talk will also be streamed live on the Bowling Green campus and to BGSU Firelands, in 1011 Cedar Point Center.
The president will outline goals and priorities for this year, report on progress on the University's Strategic Plan, and take a look back at the highlights from last academic year.

MILLBURY - A portion of Pemberville Road west of the village will be closed for approximately four weeks starting Monday at 7 a.m.
The area, including part of the road just north of Ayers Road, will be closed for replacement of a bridge deck.

Copper wire stolen at mall site
NORTHWOOD - A theft incident amounting to thousands of dollars was reported at the demolition site of the Woodville Mall on Monday.
According to Northwood Police, more than $5,400 in copper wire - over 1,000 pounds in total - and tools was stolen from the site. South of the Border Metal Trades, out of Georgia, is handling the demolition.
The incident occurred on Sunday. Forced entry was found at the scene.
The mall, closed since early 2012, is to be demolished by May of 2014 under a court order.
The site had been the subject of a number of legal actions alleging abominable and unsafe conditions.
