Victory Inn trial postponed
The trial scheduled for today in the health violation case against the Victory Inn has been moved.
The trial is now scheduled for Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. in Bowling Green Municipal Court before Judge Mark Reddin.
The business, at 1630 E. Wooster St., has been under scrutiny since violations dating back to 2012 came to light, including bedbugs, plumbing and electrical problems, a lack of smoke alarms, and cleanliness violations.
A lawsuit brought by the hotel's owner, Jamal Garmo, of Michigan, against the Wood County Health Department and the Division of State Fire Marshal alleging unwarranted and harassing inspections, was dropped by Garmo's counsel, Harold Hanna, last month.
