Assault in BG investigated
Police are investigating an assault and theft incident that left a man injured early Sunday morning.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the Bowling Green Police Division said a man was transported to the emergency room with non-incapacitating injuries after an assault by four unidentified males at about 4:24 a.m.
The victim was in his South Prospect Street apartment with the door open when the men passed by and decided to "spend some time together," Hetrick said. After a while, they assaulted him and took some of his possessions.
There are no suspects and the incident remains under investigation, Hetrick said.
