No newspaper¬† on Labor Day
The Sentinel-Tribune will not publish Monday due to the Labor Day holiday.
All federal, state, county and city offices will be closed, along with municipal courts and the library.
Bowling Green City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. instead of Monday.
Also, all city and county offices, including post offices, banks, Owens Community College and Bowling Green State University, will be closed Monday due to the Labor Day holiday.
Plan last dip in Pemberville pool
PEMBERVILLE - This is the last chance of the season to visit the village pool.
The pool will be open today and Sunday from 1 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 5 p.m.
All concessions at the pool are half price as long as supplies last.
Deputies look for traffic violations
The Wood County Sheriff's Office will be conducting a Homecoming Traffic Blitz beginning Sunday.
The blitz will run through Sept. 30.
Deputies will pay particular attention for violations, such as driving under the influence, failure to yield and speeding, all of which are leading factors in fatal crashes.
There will be no tolerance for driving under the influence and seat belt violations.
The blitz is funded through a grant from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
Lands, building committee meets
Bowling Green City Council's Public Lands and Building Committee will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St., to discuss Oak Grove Cemetery and City Hall.

Comte not under contract
Comte has not been contracted to restore the courthouse murals. They are fixing the plaster work on the border around the murals, along with the boxes on both walls, and also cleaning the ducts around the murals.
