BGPD  looks at bicycle accident
Police are investigating an injury bicycle crash that occurred in the city Thursday.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the Bowling Green Police Division said this morning the accident was reported at 10:52 a.m. and occurred at a location in the numbered streets on the east side of town.
However, the incident was reported after the bicyclist had gone to a residence hall on the Bowling Green State University campus.
The bicyclist, a 17-year-old Oak Harbor girl who is reportedly a BGSU student, was taken to Wood County Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Information on the nature of the accident was not available this morning.

BG traffic OKs no parking signs
Installation of "no parking" signs on portions of three streets was approved Wednesday night by Bowling Green's Traffic Commission.
The signs extend the length of the no parking zone on the east side of south Grove Street south of Wooster Street, add a no parking zone on North Grove between Clay Street and Conneaut Avenue and add a no parking zone on Hamilton Court from Revere Drive, but not including the cul-de-sac.
Approval of no parking on trash day sign was determined not needed because of a June 26, 2002 commission action.
