Naked man cited in BG
A man was cited early Saturday after he reportedly attempted to break into a residence while naked.
Officers responded to the 100 block of South Prospect Street just after 1:30 a.m. on the report of a naked male breaking into an apartment.
Police subsequently took Blake Truex, 20, of Harrod, to Wood County Hospital for treatment of cuts on his body.
Truex was cited for underage under the influence and criminal damaging.

Splash pad at pool is open
The splash pad at the Bowling Green City Pool and Water Park will be open today, Saturday, Sunday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 from noon to 6 p.m.
Admission is $1 per person. Season pool passes are not valid.
Outside food will be allowed because the concession stand is closed for the season.

Bicyclist hurt in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG - One bicyclist was injured after a crash Thursday in the city.
Perrysburg Police report that at 5:47 p.m. Pamela Trouw, Perrysburg, was westbound on Five Point Road when she attempted to turn left onto Brookhaven Drive.
She failed to yield to Scott Henck, Swanton, who was riding a bicycle eastbound on Five Point Road.
Henck, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike.
He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Trouw was cited for failure to yield at a left turn.

Sterling House hosts meal for Alicia's Voice
On Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sterling House will host a courtyard cafe.
All proceeds will benefit Alicia's Voice Citizen's Against Domestic Violence.
The meal will include beef brisket, baked beans, pasta salad and homemade zucchini bread for a suggested donation of $7.
Meals can be eaten in or taken to-go.
Sterling House is located at 121 N. Wintergarden Road.

ODOT closes I-280 on Friday
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces that on Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., southbound I-280 will be reduced to one lane between Navarre Avenue and Wheeling Street for bridge work.
All work is weather permitting.

Extended forecast - Partly sunny Thursday with a 50-percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid 80s. Partly cloudy overnight with a 40-percent chance of rain. Lows in the lower 60s. Mostly sunny Friday with highs in the lower 80s and lows in the upper 50s. On Saturday, highs in the 80s.
