Two teens taken to JDC
Two teens were taken to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center after one of them threatened a woman on Wren Road.
Bowling Green Police were called to the 1000 block of Wren Road on report of the incident at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
A 15-year-old girl reportedly had threatened to kill a woman at the site, and was taken to JDC on a charge of menacing.
According to police, the girl "did not go willingly."
A 14-year-old girl at the site was taken to JDC on obstruction in connection with the menacing incident.
Middleton Twp. meets Wed.
HASKINS -The August 7 meeting of the Middleton Township Trustees has been scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the township building in Haskins.
Latta to meet with small business owners
PERRYSBURG - On Thursday, Congressman Bob Latta will meet with area small-business owners over breakfast at The Holiday Inn French Quarter to update them on legislation in Washington, D.C., that could be impacting their operations.
He will be at the NFIB/Ohio Toledo Area Action Council meeting from 7:45 to 9 a.m.
Approximately 30 local small-business owners will attend this quarterly meeting of the NFIB/Ohio Area Action Council. NFIB has been active on the federal public policy level in several coalitions, including Stop the HIT (health insurance tax) and Small Businesses for Sensible Regulations. Additionally, NFIB will discuss the delay in the mandate for businesses to provide healthcare.
Finally, members of the NFIB/Ohio staff will provide an update on the Ohio General Assembly, with regard to the tax reforms in the state budget that passed in June, and other important small business issues that may be moving through the Ohio legislature this fall, including municipal tax reform.

New patients will be matriculating at the Falcon Health Center next month.
