BGPD gets car, radar
Bowling Green Police Division has received a vehicle and a radar unit from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
A 2013 Ford PI Sedan, and an M.P.H. Radar unit, which is being installed in that vehicle, were given to the BGPD as a result of the agency's involvement in Traffic Safety Campaigns. Those include the ongoing "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign" coordinated by the Traffic Safety Office of the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Place bids on Dodge, Audi
On Monday at 10 a.m. the City of Bowling Green and the Bowling Green Police Division will auction off the following vehicles via the E-Bay Auction site:
• 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Coupe with 16,744 miles.
• 2003 Audi A-6 with 96,114 miles.
Interested parties can locate the vehicles by searching for seller bowlinggreenpolice. The auction will last for seven days with titles being transferred to the highest bidder. A reserve price has been placed on the 2009 Dodge Challenger.
Interested bidders can follow the sale through their eBay auction account.
All sales will be final with payment to the City of Bowling Green expected within seven days from the end of the sale. Payments must be made with cash or certified check. The buyer will be responsible for all arrangements regarding pick up of the car.
Questions regarding the sale can be made via e-mail to the seller through the auction site.

Book sale at Fostoria library
FOSTORIA - The Kaubisch Memorial Public Library will hold a book sale Friday through Aug. 27 during library hours.
