Port Authority meets Tuesday
The Wood County Port Authority will discuss its Troy Township Project Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. in the Northwestern Water and Sewer District office, 12560 Middleton Pike Road.

Suspect sought in break-in
Bowling Green police are looking for a suspect in a weekend break-in and vandalism incident on North Enterprise Street reported Sunday.
Officers were called to the apartment, in the 800 block of North Enterprise, at 8 a.m.
The apartment's resident reported returning home to find the apartment had been broken into. The furnace, stove and water faucets were turned on, and profanity was also spray-painted on the walls.
"Everything in the apartment was damaged," said Major Tony Hetrick of Bowling Green Police.
While police have a suspect in the case, no arrest has been made.

National Guard training today
TOLEDO (AP) - Northwest Ohio residents should expect some extra noise and the sight of fighter jets in the skies as an Ohio Air National Guard unit steps up training.
The 180th Fighter Wing plans increased training flights today. The flights usually take place during daylight hours, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Toledo unit says nearby residents probably will hear loud booms, sirens and loudspeaker messages during simulated scenarios for training. A statement says the readiness training is to make sure the forces are prepared for deployment.

Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE - The monthly food distribution of food will be Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Wayne  fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
