BG retains its ISO 2 rating Bowling Green has retained its ISO Class 2 fire service rating, Municipal Administrator John Fawcett told city council Monday night. "Class 2 is outstanding," Fawcett said. Class I is the highest rating possible and there are none in Ohio and only 61 in all of the United States. Fawcett said there are 592 cities with Class 2 ratings in the U.S. "ISO visits every seven to 10 years looking at water supply and related factors. This rating has a direct affect on the insurance for homes, businesses and industries. The higher the rating, the lower the premium," Fawcett said. More overhead wires removed Additional overhead wiring has been removed on East Wooster Street in the area of Interstate 75, Director of Utilities Brian O'Connell told Bowling Green City Council Monday night. He said the city's Electric Division, police and others had combined to handle traffic and other concerns that allowed the wires to be removed.
