Tuesday crash injures driver
WALBRIDGE - A woman was injured Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 280 just north of Walbridge Road.
The Ohio Highway Patrol reports that at 7:35 a.m. Ashley Loomis, 24, was southbound on I-280 when she lost control, struck a concrete wall on the left side of the road, then crossed the road and struck a guardrail.
Loomis reported possible injuries and was taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon.
She was cited for reasonable control.

Reservations taken for community forum
Wood County Children's Services will hold an Alternative Response Community Forum Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
The forum will allow attendees to learn about Alternative Response, how it differs from current investigative processes, and how the public can get involved.
Alternative Response is a second response option where caseworkers partner with families and ensure that they are connected with services and supports they need to keep their children safe.
The forum will take place at the Wood County Educational Service Center, 1867 N. Research Drive, Bowling Green.

Lunch in the Park finale Friday
The last Lunch in the Park of the season is Friday.
Food from Qdoba will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Park's Martin and Kiwanis Shelters.
There will be a live performance by Ragtime Rick & Banjo Betsy.

BG Planning meeting Wed.
Bowling Green's Planning Commission will consider an S-District site plan for a 30-foot by 50-foot garage at Falcon pointe, 912 Klotz Road, Wednesday night.
The commission will also get a first look at a proposal to amend a section of the zoning code regarding granting variances for driveways. The proposal is an outgrowth of last month's Zoning Board of Appeals meeting. The proposal will likely be set for a public hearing at the commission's Sept. 4 meeting.
Wednesday's meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
