Tontogany Fest committee meets
TONTOGANY - Tontogany Festival Committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Doc's.
BG Police investigate sexual assault
Bowling Green police are investigating a sexual assault incident reported in the city Saturday.
The incident was reported just after 6 p.m. by a victim who had gone to the emergency room of Wood County Hospital.
The assault reportedly occurred in the 400 block of South Grove Street.
Additional details on the case were not available this morning.
BG board calls special meeting
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Crim Elementary, 1020 Scott Hamilton Drive, for the purpose of personnel employment and other items that may arise. Action is expected to be taken.
The board will hold a public forum at Crim Wednesday at noon.
The public is invited to join board members for informal community member discussions about additional cost reduction ideas for the district to consider.
Man arrested for fighting;
One man was cited after an altercation in which the window of a Main Street business was broken early Sunday morning.
Bowling Green police report that at 12:27 a.m. police responded to a report of subjects fighting, and a window broken, at the Gallery Salon and Spa, 165 N. Main St.
Upon arrival, police arrested Nathan Morris, 22, Warrensville Heights, on a charge of criminal damaging. Morris paid his bond and was released.
Two arrested for shoplifting
Two people were cited for shoplifting following an incident in the city on Friday.
According to Bowling Green police, Calvin Marshall, 20, and Andrew Deming, 21, both of Bowling Green, were involved in a return fraud incident at Wal-Mart and subsequently arrested.
Report of the crime was made Saturday.
Marshall was cited for one count of theft, and Deming was cited for two counts.
