BG man arrested for burglary
A Bowling Green man was arrested Saturday on charges of burglary and domestic violence after he entered a residence on Harvest Lane.
Bowling Green Police report that they responded to a call for a burglary in progress when they found the suspect, Josh Condon, 28, had made forcible entry into the residence in the 500 block of Harvest Lane.
Condon had reportedly been making threats to a woman inside of the residence, and was attempting to retrieve property of his from the site.
He was arrested on charges of burglary, domestic violence, criminal damaging, drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
He is currently being held in the Wood County jail without bond, and is to appear in court on Tuesday.

Vehicle break-ins
reported in BG
Five vehicle break-ins were reported in the city over the weekend.
On Friday, a theft from a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of South Prospect Street. A rearview mirror, valued at $300, was reported taken, and other items in the vehicle were rifled through.
Also Friday, a vehicle was entered in the 200 block of Byall Avenue, with a Garmin GPS and a sweatshirt stolen.
On Saturday, a vehicle in the 200 block of Varsity Square was entered and rifled through, but nothing was taken.
An iPod was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Gorrell Avenue, and $15 in change was taken from a vehicle in the 700 block of Wallace.

OKs asbestos
abatement for
former school
Perrysburg Township Trustees approved a $13,700 purchase order this month for asbestos abatement at the former Lime City School.
The school, on Lime City Road just north of U.S. 20, was formerly part of the Rossford School District, closing in 1982. The township purchased the property last year for $110,000.
Midwest Environmental Control Inc., Toledo, will perform the abatement. Trustees previously accepted a $19,677 bid from Marko Demolition and Crushing LLC, Genoa, for demolition.
