West Poe Road nears reopening
West Poe Road at Main Street could be ready to reopen by Friday night.
Director of Public Works Brian Craft told Bowling Green City Council Monday night the goal is to have one lane open in each direction.
Craft said the intermediate course of paving should be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting.

Community Ctr. alters Wed. hours
The Bowling Green Community Center will be closed Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to the visit of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt romney.
This closing is due to security issues stemming from the visit.
Patrons can use the facility in the morning but will have to exit the facility no later then 9:45 a.m. The facility will reopen at 4 p.m.

Stony Ridge  meeting Wed.
The Stony Ridge Civic Association will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Stony Ridge Library.

Tontogany Fest sets meeting
The Tontogany Festival committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Doc's.

Lunch in Park Friday at 11:30
Food from Pagliai's Pizza will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday during the Lunch in the Park series.
There will be a live performance by Spittin' Image. This lunch is sponsored by Sandy Rowland of Danberry Realtors.

Revolving loan meeting Friday
Bowling Green's Revolving Loan Fund Committee will meet Friday at 10 a.m. to review an application for a small business loan from the city's Business Revolving Loan Fund.
The group meets at the Bowling Green Community Development Foundation office, 121 E. Wooster  St.
