HOPE meets tonight in BG
The support group, HOPE, for people surviving the loss of a loved one through suicide, will meet tonight
at 7 in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, on Conneaut Avenue in Bowling Green.

Money taken from business
Police are investigating a burglary at a North Main Street restaurant in Bowling Green on Tuesday.
Officers were called to El Patron, 1096 N. Main St., on the report of the incident just before 10:15 a.m.

The business was apparently entered during the overnight hours, and money was taken from a safe on site.

Kiwanis learn of ‘Heart of BG Project’
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will learn about the "Heart of BG Project" at its weekly meeting
at noon on Thursday which will be held at the Stone Shelter at Bowling Green City Park.
Local residents Jodi and Dave Anderson are the driving forces behind the project which encourages the
usage of automatic external defibrillators.
Rotary hears about BGSU
"An Introduction to BGSU CRU" is the topic at Thursday’s Rotary Club meeting.
The speaker is Nick Gillespie.
The meeting will start at 11:40 a.m. at the BG Country Club.
CJ’s Grill provides food at park Friday
Al Mar Lanes/CJ’s Grill will be featured at Lunch in the Park on Friday.
Food from the business will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Park’s Martin and
Kiwanis shelters.
The event is hosted by the city of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department along with title sponsor
First Federal Bank.
There will be a live performance by Ladies & Gentlemen throughout the lunch.
