Warrant issued for burglary suspect
A warrant has been issued for a Toledo man after he allegedly broke into a Bowling Green residence and stole electronics equipment Monday.
Charges of burglary, a third degree felony, and criminal damaging or endangering, a second degree misdemeanor, have been filed against Daniel Fields, 31, Toledo. He reportedly remained at-large as of this morning, and was believed to still be in the Toledo area.
Bowling Green Police were alerted to the incident early Monday afternoon at a residence in the 300 block of South Main Street. Fields reportedly took a large flat screen television and a computer tower from the residence, where he had previously lived.
Tontogany Fest committee meets
TONTOGANY - The Tontogany Festival Committee will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Doc's.
The festival is set for Aug. 9-11.
Children's author visits library
Families, meet New York Times Best Selling children's picture book author Sherri Duskey Rinker at the Wood County District Public Library Wednesday at 7 p.m.
She is the author of "Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site" and "Steam Train, Dream Train."

Books will not be available for sale at the library, but are available for purchase at Calico, Sage, and Thyme, 115 Clay St., Bowling Green.
Arborist is Rotary guest
David Bienemann, arborist for Bowling Green, will be the guest at the Bowling Green Rotary Club meeting, Thursday at 11:40 a.m. at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE - The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
