Committees meet tonight in Haskins
HASKINS - The Haskins Village Facilities and Grounds committee will be meeting at 6:30 tonight in the town hall, followed by a Finance and Audit committee meeting at 7.
Theft at VFW convention
Perrysburg Township police received a report of the theft of roughly $500 from a VFW fundraiser.
A VFW representative reported that on June 29, during the state's VFW convention, an unknown person took the money from a raffle table during the event at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg, where the attendant was approached by numerous people over the course of several hours.
The reporting party requested the incident be documented but had no additional suspect information.
Legion hosts joint potluck
LUCKEY - Troy-Webster American Legion Post 240 and its Auxiliary will host a joint potluck dinner and meeting Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the post home on Park Drive.
Delegates who attended 2013 Buckeye Boys and Girls State, along with their parents, will be guests. After the meal, the delegates will each share their experience at Buckeye State.
City tracks assets with GPS
The City of Bowling Green has contracted with GIS Landmark to GPS city-owned assets.
Residents should be aware that GIS Landmark employees will be working around residential property and, at times, be on residential property to collect physical locations of water services. Contractors will not be required to enter the premises.
All employees carry photo identification.
The purpose of this inventory is to capture water assets for the city-wide Geographical Information System.

Wood Lane levy information
A story in Saturday's edition about Wood Lane's levy proposal contained incorrect information. The organization's 2012 operating budget was $29.9 million, and the levy proposal will cost the owner of a $150,000 home $184 per year due to a change in state law, according to Wood Lane fiscal director Steve Foster.
