Haskins Council meets tonight
HASKINS - The Haskins Village Council will be meeting as a committee meeting of the whole on tonight at 6 p.m. to discuss the budget for fiscal year 2015.

Two men arrested after drug exchange
Two men were arrested after a drug exchange was witnessed by a police officer.
On Friday at 4:45 p.m. in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Clough Street, Kyle Lamb, 25, was arrested for aggravated possession of a Schedule 2 drug; and Ryan Miller, 35, was arrested for aggravated trafficking.
Both are from Bowling Green and both were taken to jail.

Civil Service Commission meets Thur.
The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Personnel Director's Office, City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St. The purpose of the meeting is to take all actions necessary to establish eligibility lists, and/or certify names of candidates deemed eligible for consideration for hire or promotion to classified positions. Action will also be taken, as necessary, to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions, and to establish classified positions.

Health board meets Thur.
The Wood County Board of Health will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the health district.

ODOT updates road work
Effective today through the month of July, Ohio 281, between Henry/Wood County Line and Weston Road, will be closed for culvert replacement. Local access will be maintained.  Effective Tuesday through July, Ohio 65 between Carrington Boulevard and Hull Prairie Road will be closed for culvert replacement. Project completion date is November.
All work is weather permitting.
