Minor fire knocked down
LIME CITY - Minor damage occurred following an apartment complex fire on Oregon Road Sunday.
Perrysburg Township Fire Chief Tom Brice said the fire was reported at 4 p.m. at the apartments, 28798 Oregon Road.
It was initially called in as an apartment fire, and Perrysburg and Rossford fire personnel also responded.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a wooden porch support post had caught fire, and the flames extended upwards to the second story of the porch at the building.
Brice said the damage was largely limited to the post, and is estimated to be under $200.
The apartments did not need to be evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The cause is undetermined.
Fire crews remained on scene for an hour.
