BG board meets Thursday
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Administrative Offices building, 137 Clough St. for the purpose of personnel hiring.
Action is expected to be taken.

BG Rotary meets Thursday
The Bowling Green Rotary Club will hear from Sandy Milligan and Milligan Workshops when it meets Thursday.
The meeting will start at 11:4o a.m. at BG Country Club on Fairview Avenue.

Sale at N.B. thrift store
NORTH BALTIMORE - St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store in North Baltimore will hold a half price sale on all clothing this week. All other items will be at regular prices.
The store will be closed July 1 to 9.

Blood drive Thursday
The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive, open to the public, on Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Heritage Corner Health Care Campus on Klotz Road in Bowling Green.

BG Police investigate embezzlement
Bowling Green Police continue to investigate a reported embezzlement at a South Main Street bank.
Police took the report June 17 that $2,000 was missing from PNC Bank, 735 S. Main St.
The customer's whose money was taken has been reimbursed by the bank.
The bank continues to do its own investigation.
A Bowling Green resident is suspected of the crime and still owes the bank $2,000.

Thefts reported in county
Thefts were reported over the weekend by the Wood County Sheriff's Office.
In the northern portion of the county, a cell phone and watch were stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Genoa Road, rural Perrysburg. The theft of a laptop computer was additionally reported in the 22000 block of River Road in Grand Rapids.
In the southern areas of Wood County, a safe was stolen from a storage unit, located within a barn, in the 10000 block of Tank Farm Road, Cygnet.

Thursday - Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day and overnight. Humid with highs in the lower 80s. Chance of rain 50 percent during the day at 70 percent overnight.
Friday - Highs Friday in the lower 80s with a 60-percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 60s and a 40-percent chance of rain.
