ODOT lists road work
Effective Monday and Tuesday, northbound I-280 between Walbridge Road and Woodville Road will be reduced to one lane for bridge deck repair.  Additional lane restrictions for resurfacing will be announced.  Project completion date is October 2014.
Also effective Monday, through September, intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions are possible at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Lime City Road for turn lane addition. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project completion date is September.
Through August, intermittent lane restrictions is possible in both directions of Ohio 105 between Lemoyne Road and Ohio 199 for resurfacing and guardrail repair. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project should be completed in August.
All work on projects is weather permitting.

S.K. Worm at library Monday
Visit the Wood County District Public Library Children's Place on Monday at 1:30 p.m. to meet "S. K. Worm," a super-size mechanical worm who answers questions about soil and stuff.
The "S. K." stands for "Scientific Knowledge," and visitors hear all about soil, worms, and other neat stuff with Nicki Kale from the Wood Soil and Water Conservation District and this large mechanical worm.

Bridge work announced
The Wood County Engineer's Office has announced the bridge replacement work on Bates Road will start Monday and last approximately 90 days.
The bridge being replaced is over Grassy Creek in Perrysburg Township, just south of Buck Road.

Ribbon cutting for CRC planned
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Children's Resource Center to be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. This ribbon cutting will celebrate the grand opening of their new community center, located at 141 S. Main St. in downtown Bowling Green.
