Haskins Council meets Wed.
HASKINS - Village council will hold a special council meeting on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in the town hall.
The purpose of this meeting will be to appoint interested residents to vacant council seats.
BGHS Drama performs
The Bowling Green High School Drama Club will present an encore performance of its award-winning production "Anatomy of Gray" on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the BG Performing Arts Center.
This is a send-off to the club's trip to the International Thespian Festival where members will perform the production as a featured main stage show for hundreds of theater students and teachers from across the country.
The performance will be followed by a reception open to all audience members. Tickets are not required for the performance and reception, but goodwill donations will be accepted.
Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE - The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet the eligibility requirements.
Ambulance board meets
The Mid County Ambulance Board will meet Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the building on County Home Road.
The Portage Township Trustees will hold a special meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the township hall at the corner of Huffman and Mermill roads.
The purpose of the meeting is the consider the road bids for road improvements in Portage Township.
