Ammo, pills taken from unlocked vehicle
Ammunition and pills were stolen when a vehicle was entered at Wal-Mart on Friday.
Bowling Green Police were called to the scene just before 7 p.m.
The owner of the vehicle reported an unknown subject entered it sometime after 6 p.m. and took 50
Oxycodone tablets, as well as a Glock 9mm magazine containing 15 rounds, and an AR15 magazine containing
two rounds. No weapons were reported taken.
The vehicle had been left unlocked.
Three homes entered over the weekend
Three burglary and breaking and entering incidents were reported in the city over the Father’s Day
weekend.
On Friday, jewelry and loose change were reported stolen in an incident in the 800 block of East Napoleon
Road; loose change and a watch were reported taken from a residence in the 500 block of Erie Court that
day as well.
On Saturday, items were reported missing from a house in the 1000 block of North Mitchell Road.
Chess club meets Tuesday
The Bowling Green Chess Club meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Grounds for Thought.

The Mid-County Ambulance board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at its building on County Home Road.
