More changes on N. Main Street Traffic changes are scheduled for Monday on North Main Street and Poe Road in Bowling Green, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. Effective Monday through June of 2013, North Main Street between Dill Street and Newton Road, will be two lanes in both directions. Also Monday through June 2013, Poe Road, from Prospect Street to Main Street will be one lane in each direction. Effective Monday through July, both directions of Poe Road from Main Street to Grove Street will be closed for utility and intersection work. The detour is North College Drive, Newton Road and Fairview Avenue. BG to discuss distracted driving The Transportation and Safety Committee of Bowling Green City Council will meet Monday to discuss distracted driving. The 6 p.m. meeting will be held in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St. Father's Day fun at the library Children are encouraged to bring their fathers and grandfathers to the Children's Place on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. to celebrate Father's Day. Children's Place staff will share moon stories, crafts and snacks. "Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me" is part of the summer reading program. Ohio 199 closes through July 3 The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that effective Monday through July 3, Ohio 199, between Ohio 281 and U.S. 23, will be closed for culvert repair. Local access will be maintained. Food assistance in Lake Twp. WALBRIDGE - The Lake Township mobile food pantry is Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at fire station 1, 4505 Walbridge Road. A meal will be served beginning at 4 p.m. New families need to supply proof of residency. Parking is in the back. It is sponsored by the Firebelles ladies auxiliary and Food for Thought.
