Wife also cited in standoff
Lorca R. Henley, 40, of Bowling Green, also was cited after police arrested her husband Saturday on Conneaut Avenue
She was charged with three counts of endangering children and is scheduled in court this morning.

Future of opera house is Kiwanis topic
Carol Bailey, the programming director of the Pemberville Opera House, will speak to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club about the restoration and the future of one of the oldest opera houses in Ohio.
Originally built in 1891 in the heart of the Village of Pemberville during the Oil Boom, underwent extensive renovations and now has a full schedule of activity.  The opera house is operated by the Pemberville Freedom Area Historical Society.

Health board meets Thursday
The Wood County Board of Health will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Health Department on East Gypsy Lane Road.
The Personnel Committee will meet at 6 p.m.

Lunch in the Park Friday
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department will host Lunch in the Park Friday.
Food from Pita Pit will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Park's Martin and Kiwanis Shelters.
There will be a live performance by Ladies and Gentlemen throughout the lunch.
