Children's place programs on tap The Children's Place at the Wood County District Public Library will present a Reader's Theatre Wednesday at 7 p.m. Two popular picture books, "Stellaluna" and "When the Library Lights Go Out" will be performed by a cast of volunteens. The audience will be invited to take part in a Reader's Theatre adaptation of "Owl Babies." Also a artwork inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's 1889 masterpiece The Starry Night will created at the Children's Place, Thursday and Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. The artwork will take two days to complete. Lake farm market starting season MILLBURY - The Lake Township Farmers Market starts the season on Wednesday in the parking lot of the administration building off Ohio 795 at Cummings Road. Kiwanis to learn about e-readers The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will learn how to use personal portable e-readers with the Wood County Library's free e-books catalogue at its noon meeting Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club. Michelle Rainey, assistant director of the Wood County Library, will explain how the library's resources can be used to hook up with portable e-readers such as the Nook and Kindle.
