Farmers’ Market in BG
Support BG Independ-ence Day fireworks at Wednesday’s Downtown Farmers’ Market.
The market will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. at 201 S. Main St.
Belleville Brothers will hold a pork-a-lean cookout with proceeds going to the fireworks fund.
Tim Tegge and the Black Swamp Boys at the Stone’s Throw Stage from 6 to 7 p.m.
Blood drive hosted by After Prom
ROSSFORD – The Rossford High School After Prom is hosting a Pints for Prom blood drive Thursday from 1 to
6 p.m. at the Local 8 Union Hall at 807 Lime City Road.
Vehicles entered, items taken
A series of vehicles were reported entered in Bowling Green on Sunday.
The incidents occurred in the 300 block of West Merry Avenue, the 300 block of Conneaut Avenue, the 300
block of Liberty Avenue, the 300 block of West Reed Avenue, and the 300 block of North Grove Street.
Seven vehicles were entered in all.
Items taken from the vehicles included an iPod, Oakley sunglasses, and $12 in cash.
In four of the vehicles, control levers and a door handle were broken off.
Panera Bread featured at Lunch in Park
Panera Bread will be featured at Friday’s Lunch in the Park, to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place at the Martin and Kiwanis shelters in City Park. Musical entertainment will be
provided by Chris Buzzelli and Morgen Stiegler throughout lunch.
The event is sponsored by the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation department, along with title sponsor
First Federal Bank.
