Broken bottle blamed for spill
Bowling Green State University has learned the source of a possible chemical spill that prompted the
closure Wednesday of two buildings as a precaution.
The source of the spill was a glass bottle of chlorinated waste solvent that was stored in a cabinet. The
bottle fractured and broke.
The spill did not pose a risk to health or safety and a hazardous waste disposal firm cleaned up the
spill.
Physical Sciences and Psychology buildings were closed as a precaution until 9 a.m.
