BG woman indicted for manslaughter
A city woman has been indicted for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of a Bowling
Green man she allegedly sold drugs to.
Tricia Miller, 29, Bowling Green, was indicted Wednesday by a Wood County grand jury.
Miller stands charged in the March death of Dan Patton Jr., 30. The indictment states that his death
"was the proximate result of (Miller) committing or attempting to commit the felony offense of
trafficking in drugs."
Papers from Bowling Green Municipal Court, where Miller was originally charged with trafficking in
heroin, say that she sold Patton and another man .4 grams of heroin on March 1 for $100.
Workshop for kids
Home Depot will offer a Kids Workshop Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Youngsters will learn to make a lawnmower.
Pedestrian hit by car
A pedestrian was taken to Wood County Hospital Thursday afternoon after he was struck by a vehicle at the
intersection of South College Drive and East Wooster Street.
Eric Martin was reportedly crossing the street at 1:49 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle driven by
Ellen Silva, Perrysburg.
Martin was taken to the hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS with minor injuries.
Silva was cited for right-of-way at a stop sign.
Full details of the incident were not available this morning.
Tontogany Fest Comm. meets Tuesday
TONTOGANY – The Tontogany Festival Committee will be holding its’ next meeting on Tuesday at Doc’s at 7
p.m. Important items will be discussed and finalized.
