Leadership BG annual meeting set for June 18
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Leadership BG Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting June
18, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Klotz Floral Gift & Garden Center, 906 Napoleon Road.
The event will be catered by Mister Spots and The Cookie Jar.
This event is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Reservations are required by June 11. RSVP by

Civil Services board meets
The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Personnel Director’s
Office, City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
The purpose of the meeting is to take all actions necessary to establish eligibility lists, and/or
certify names of candidates deemed eligible for consideration for hire or promotion to various
classified positions, such as maintenance specialist.
Action will also be taken, as necessary, to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions, and to establish
classified positions.
Items reported stolen in BG
Items were reported stolen following a breaking and entering incident in the city Thursday.
The incident was reported at 12:22 p.m. in the 300 block of Parkview Avenue.
Numerous items, including cash, were reported missing.
There was no sign of forced entry at the scene.
