Road work affects I-75
ROSSFORD – The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two announces that effective today and Friday,
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Interstate 75 from Ohio 795 to
Buck Road for sweeping drainage work.
Video game burglary target again
Video game equipment was again the target in a burglary reported Tuesday in the city.
The incident occurred in the 300 block of South Maple Street between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
During that time, an unknown person entered the residence, smashed a TV and stole an XBox 360 video game
console.
This is the second incident in recent days in which burglars made off with an XBox. A similar incident
was reported in the 900 block of Klotz Road on Sunday.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of the BG Police said such items are common targets in burglaries.
Northwood seeks help to ID suspects
NORTHWOOD – Police are seeking assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a break-in at a
laundromat in the city earlier this month.
The incident occurred May 16 at the Northwood Coin Laundry, 375 E. Andrus Road. During the incident, a
male and a female entered the premises. While the female suspect did laundry, the male suspect broke
open a lock box, removed keys to the business and entered a storage room.
On one video, the male can be seen using a toddler to grab wires that lead to a surveillance camera in
order to disable it.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Sgt. Doug Hubaker of the

Rt. 105 closed for road work
Effective Monday through Friday next week, Ohio 105, between Pemberville Road and U.S. 23, will be closed
between for culvert replacement. All work is weather permitting.
