Community band plays tonight
The Bowling Green Area Community Band will perform Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Lenhart Grand Ballroom in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union on the Bowling Green State University campus.
The show will feature the concert and jazz bands.
Reserved seating tickets are available at Grounds for Thought, Bowling Green. No tickets are available at the door.

Kip Boulis Run Monday
PERRYSBURG - The 33rd annual Kip Boulis Memorial Day 5k Run and One Mile Walk/Run will be held Monday at Woodland Park.
The event honors Perrysburg Police Officer Kip Boulis, who drowned May 30, 1976, while attempting to rescue people whose boat capsized on the Maumee River near Fort Meigs.
All proceeds from the race benefit the Kip Boulis Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to Perrysburg High School students.
Registration for the event begins at 7 a.m., with the race starting at 8:15 a.m.
Race day registration is $25. Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female Champions, Police Officer/Firefighter finishers, and top finishers and in varying age groups.
The 100th and 300th finishers will receive a gift certificate from Dave's Running Shop.
Woodland Park is located at the corner of Ohio 795 and East Boundary Street.

Reynolds Road closed Tuesday
Reynolds Road between Mermill Road and Ohio 281 will be closed Tuesday or tile replacement.
Work is expected to be completed in one day.

Perrysburg at odds over council seat
PERRYSBURG - City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. regarding a vacancy on council.
On Tuesday, council was deadlocked by a 3-3 vote over the appointment of Sara Weisenburger to the seat vacated by Councilwoman Maria Ermie late last month.
A Personnel Committee meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. that evening has been cancelled, and the Health, Sanitation and Public Utilities Committee meeting has been moved from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m.
