Tech 'zoo' at Way tonight
PERRYSBURG - A "Technology Petting Zoo" will be held at Way Library tonight at 7.
Technology experts Travis McAfee and Doug Kolpien will host this free and fun hands-on event which offers the opportunity to play with a variety of popular mobile devices.
Short demonstrations will be offered on each of the devices followed by an opportunity to try them out. Get to know the iPad 1, iPad 3, Kindle Fire, Nook Color, Asus Transformer Pad (Android), Sony Reader, and others.
No registration is required.

Blood drives this week
American Red Cross blood drives scheduled include:
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Thursday, 1 to 6 p.m., Otterbein Portage Valley, 20311 Pemberville Road, Pemberville.
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Stadium View Apartments, 1700 Juniper Drive, Bowling Green.
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. John's Lutheran Church, 5520 Fremont Pike, Stony Ridge.

Memorial Day affects trash pickup in BG
The City of Bowling Green offices will be closed on Monday in observation of Memorial Day.
As a result, all refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day per the following:
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Regular Monday collection will be collected on Tuesday
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Regular Tuesday collection will be collected on Wednesday
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Regular Wednesday collection will be collected on Thursday
‚Äʬ†¬† ¬†Regular Thursday collection will be collected on Friday

County deputies increase patrol
The Wood County Sheriff's Office will be conducting increased patrol now through June 2 thanks to a grand funding from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office during the national blitz campaign "Click It or Ticket."
Deputies will pay particular attention for violations such as driving under the influence, failure to yield, and speeding, all which are leading factors in fatal crashes.

Wednesday - Showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the upper 70s. Chance of rain 70 percent during the day and overnight. Lows around 60.
Extended forecast - Showers and thunderstorms likely Thursday with highs in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 60 percent. Mostly cloudy overnight with a 50-percent chance of rain. Much cooler with lows in the mid 40s. Partly cloudy Friday with highs in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s. On Saturday, partly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s.
