Plain Township changes meeting
Plain Township Trustees has rescheduled their monthly meeting to Monday at 7:30 p.m .at the township hall because of the holiday weekend.

Hammer Road closes Monday
Hammer Road in Perry Township will be closed between West Millgrove and Eagleville roads starting Monday at 7 a.m. The road will remain closed for an estimated four weeks during a bridge replacement.

CIC meets Monday in BG
Bowling Green City Council's Community Improvement Committee meets Monday at 6 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St., to have a discussion amongst council members regarding east side issues brought forward by citizens at previous meetings.

Sharing Hands serves meal
LUCKEY - Sharing Hands will serve a free meal on Monday from, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at American Legion Post #240 at 335 Park Ave. This is a change from the usual fourth Monday to the third Monday for the month of May only.
In June the meal will be on June 24.

Volunteer for flag placement
The Bowling Green Memorial Day Committee is seeking volunteers for placement of the American Flag at the graves of our veterans on May 25 at both Memory Gardens Cemetery and Oak Grove Cemetery.  Flags will be placed in honor of veterans at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 10 a.m. and at Oak Grove Cemetery will start at 1 p.m. beginning at the cemetery's maintenance garage.

Pool passes available in Grand Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS - Pool passes for the Grand Rapids swimming pool are available at a discount until the pool opens June 1.
Passes are $140 for families and $80 for individuals. On June 1 prices increase to $160 and $90, respectively.
Passes may be purchased at the Grand Rapids branch of Huntington National Bank or at the pool.
