Port Authority meets Monday
The Wood County Port Authority will hold is regular meeting Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Northwestern Water and
Sewer District, 12560 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green.
Perrysburg Twp. board seeks alternate
Perrysburg Township is seeking an alternate member for its Zoning Commission.
Zoning Inspector Kelly Hemminger notified township trustees Tuesday that John Benavides resigned as an
alternate member, a post he’s held since 2000. Hemminger said Benavides is moving and will no longer be
eligible for commission membership.
The group meets on the second Monday of each month. Its functions include but are not limited to
establishing and amending the zoning resolution and reviewing and authorizing site plans. One must be a
resident of the zoned area of the township.

Three hurt in crash near BG
Three people were taken to Wood County Hospital after a Wednesday crash at on Bowling Green Road West and
Liberty Hi Road.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 8:58 a.m. Norma Miller, Holgate, was eastbound on
Bowling Green Road West when a northbound vehicle on Liberty Hi Road, driven by Ashley Arrington-Doyle,
Bradner, failed to yield and struck Miller’s vehicle.
Miller was taken to the hospital by Mid-County 120 EMS. Arrington-Doyle and her passenger, Karen McFee,
Weston, were transported by Bowling Green Fire/EMS. All sustained non-incapacitating injuries.
Arrington-Doyle was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
