Volunteer, intern fair is Friday
A Community Volunteer and Partnership Fair will be held Friday from 2 to 5:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Bowling Green High School Performing Arts Center.
The event provides an opportunity for people to find a place to volunteer or intern and to find volunteers and interns.
The event is a collaborative effort of Bowling Green State University, the city of Bowling Green, BG City Schools, Relay for Life, United Way in Wood County and the Wood County Volunteer Administrators Coalition.

BGSU athletics is Kiwanis topic
Mark Shook, the interim director of athletics at Bowling Green State University, will speak to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Shook, a 1992 graduate of BGSU, was named interim director of athletics last month with the departure of Greg Christopher and will continue to serve until a full-time replacement is named.
Shook is in his seventh year on the athletic department staff at BGSU.

Oral care is hospital lecture program
As part of its Health Matters lecture series, Wood County Hospital is presenting "Oral Care: It's a Mouthful" with Ryan Phipps, DDS, on Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the hospital meeting rooms.
Phipps will discuss the connection between oral and overall health, and medications that can affect teeth. He will also discuss whitening, bad breath, aging and how that can affect dentistry.

Go Perrysburg meets Thursday
PERRYSBURG - Following the successful passage of a transit levy last week, Go Perrysburg will hold a committee debrief meeting Thursday at the Kingston Residence in Perrysburg at 7 p.m.
One of the objectives of the meeting will be to determine how the committee can provide support to the city administration to facilitate a smooth start up of the new transportation service to the community and how the committee might stay involved in the coming years.
