Civil Service group meets
The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be held in the Personnel Director's Office, City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
The purpose of the meeting is to take all actions necessary to establish eligibility lists and/or certify names of candidates deemed eligible for consideration for hire or promotion to various classified positions.
Action will also be taken to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions, and to establish classified positions.

Thursday - Showers and thunderstorms continue. Highs in the lower 60s. Chance of rain near 100 percent. Cooler overnight with a 40-percent chance of rain. Lows in the upper 30s.
Extended forecast - Mostly cloudy Friday with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the lower 40s. Chance of rain overnight 40 percent. Highs Saturday in the upper 50s with a 30-percent chance of rain. Overnight lows in the lower 40s.
