Home burglary reported in Fostoria
FOSTORIA – Burglary was reported at a residence on Eagleville Road northeast of the city Tuesday.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident just before 3:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of
Eagleville Road.
There was evidence of forcible entry at the scene; two televisions and jewelry were among the items
taken.
Police efforts net citations
TOLEDO – Nearly 200 citations were issued this past weekend in the annual Circle Toledo policing effort
throughout the region.
Circle Toledo is a 12-hour OVI enforcement effort of police agencies surrounding the Toledo Metropolitan
area. Agencies from Wood, Lucas and Fulton counties are included, as well as the Michigan State Police
and the Monroe County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Department.
The goal of Circle Toledo is to increase public awareness of the dangers of drinking and driving as well
as to remove impaired drivers.
The agencies cooperated to produce the following results during the enforcement effort: 199 total
citations were issued, 14 impaired drivers were arrested (OVI arrests), 397 total vehicles were stopped,
18 seat belt citations were issued.
Family Fun Day is Saturday in Pemberville
PEMBERVILLE – Our Place is hosting a Family Fun Day at Harrison Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Food and games as well as a 50/50 raffle are part of the day’s scheduled events.
Proceeds will go to The Daughter Project to help survivors recover from sex trafficking.
