Stolen vehicle found in Toledo
A vehicle stolen in the city on Third Street Wednesday was recovered in Toledo after it had reportedly
been set on fire.
The car, a 2003 black Pontiac Grand Am, was reported stolen in the 800 block of Third Street between 8
a.m. and 2 p.m. The keys had been left inside the car.
Toledo Police reported at 10:40 p.m. that the vehicle was recovered in the 1000 block of Waite Avenue,
and that the vehicle had been on fire.
An investigation into the incident is pending.
Trees cut down in BG
Two trees were reportedly cut down on a property in the 200 block of Meeker Street Wednesday.
Bowling Green Police reported the incident around 12:15 p.m.
An officer on-scene indicated that the small trees had been cut down on the property. An ax was
subsequently located in the 500 block of Wallace Avenue.
A boy between the ages of 8 and 12 was reportedly seen in the area.
Burglary reported in Fostoria
FOSTORIA – A burglary in the rural Wood County portion of the city was reported Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Fostoria Road and was reported just before 6 p.m.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, unknown subjects entered the home by force. It was not
clear if any items had been taken.
