Fish fry Friday in BG
The Bowling Green Eagles will host a fish fry Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
The cost is $8.
Food distribution Friday in BG
Bowling Green's monthly food distribution will be Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St.
Port Authority to meet Friday
The Wood County Port Authority will hold a special meeting Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Northwestern Water and Sewer District, 12560 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green.
The board will discuss a pay request for the Insite project.
BG band presents matinee concert
Bowling Green High School Symphonic Band will present its third annual Friends and Neighbors Matinee Concert on Friday. This 10 a.m. concert is free and open to the public, and will be geared toward more mature members of the community.
The concert will be approximately 40 minutes in length, with a reception to follow in the lobby. Both will take place in the Bowling Green Schools' Performing Arts Center, which has ample free parking and is fully accessible to those with mobility challenges.
Elmwood grad speaks to students
JERRY CITY - Elmwood High School graduate and current NASA Mars Science Lab mission operations manager Jennifer (Harris) Trosper will speak about her career and current project for students grades 8-12 Friday.
She will speak at 1:45 p.m. in the Elmwood Community Center auditorium.
She graduated from Elmwood in 1986.
The public is welcome.

NORTHWOOD - A television was stolen Friday during a burglary at a residence in the city.
Northwood Police were alerted to the incident, in the 1000 block of Tracy Road, just before 5 p.m.
The resident indicated that she and her daughter had left the home for a few minutes and when they returned, they discovered that the flat screen TV was missing.
No other items were taken.
