OVI cause of Saturday crash
SCOTCH RIDGE - A Bloomdale man was cited for drunk driving and other offenses after an injury crash early Saturday.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 2:23 a.m., Arthur Wills IV was westbound in the 7000 block of Ohio 105 when he drove off the north side of the road, re-entered the roadway, and then drove off the road to the north again, and crashed.
He sustained minor injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Pemberville EMS.
Wills was cited for OVI, failure to control, and driving under suspension.

Fostoria Farmers' Mkt. starts Saturday
FOSTORIA - The first Fostoria Farmers' Market of the season is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Downtown KeyBank at 133 W Tiffin St.
The theme is Mothers' Day, and there will be a variety of gift ideas for Moms of all ages. Flowers and plants; jewelry, pottery;hand-woven and sewn items, including propane covers; fresh produce; homemade baked goods; jams; soaps; original artwork and photography; and items from Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Union Springs Wellness, Thirty-One and Scentsy will be available.  Also, home-grown canned beef, doggie treats, brooms, and flagpole sets will be offered.
Raffle tickets will be available from members of the Fostoria Latino Fest committee and St. Mary Church.

BG Commission considers annexation
Bowling Green's Planning Commission will consider annexation of three-quarters of one acre from Plain Township at its 7 p.m. meeting Wednesday night.
The annexation petition was filed by Betty M. Harrison.
The commission will also likely set proposed revisions to the zoning code concerning plan requirements for a public hearing at it June 5 meeting.
The commission meets in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
