Hoytville council meets Wed.
HOYTVILLE – Hoytville Village Council will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at 2418 S. Main St.
Representatives from Feller, Finch & Associates and NWWS will be in attendance to share
information.
Road work affects streets in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – Through June, Ohio 25 from Front Street to South Boundary Street, will be reduced to one
lane for resurfacing and drainage work. Local access will be maintained.
Effective on the following dates, Front Street, between Ohio 25 and Mulberry Street, will be closed for
resurfacing: Wednesday 7 p.m. to Thursday 6 a.m.; Thursday 7 p.m. to Friday 6 a.m.; May 5 7 p.m. to May
6 6 a.m.; May 6 7 p.m. to May 7 6 a.m.
Diabetes program at Way Thurs.
Jennie Wagner and Rita Sowinski of Mercy will present an educational program on diabetes on Thursday at 7
p.m. at Way Public Library.
Wagner is a Registered and Licensed Dietician, a Certified Diabetes Educator and is Board Certified in
Advanced Diabetes Management.
Sowinski is a Certified Diabetes Educator at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
They will discuss resources available to help you or a loved one better manage your diabetes. Topics will
include a general disease overview, information on medications, nutrition and meal planning, exercise
information, blood glucose monitoring, and goal setting.
Free blood pressure screenings will also be offered from 6 to 8 p.m.
These events are free and open to the public. No registration required.
