Baked steak served at Weston Legion
WESTON – Weston American Legion, 409 S. Main St., will have a baked steak supper today from 5 to 7 p.m.

Donation is $10. Carryout will be available.
BG future land use plan is open house topic
An open house for Bowling Green residents to learn about, ask questions and comment on the update to the
city’s future land use plan is scheduled Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Melt Shoppe, 145 N. Main St.
In addition, those who attend and visit all of the stations will receive a coupon from the Melt Shoppe
and will be entered into a raffle for prizes, such as a family day pass to the city pool or Community
Center.
Winners will be contacted the next day.
Sharing Hands offers free meal
LUCKEY – Sharing Hands will serve a free meal open to all residents of the Eastwood School District on
Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at American Legion Post #240, 335 Park Dr.
The menu will be turkey and noodles, mashed potatoes, vegetable, cake, and beverages.
Take-out meals are available. Home delivery is available by calling Tresa Witker at 419-308-0536 or the
legion hall at 419-833-3581.
McVicker to leave county airport
The Wood County Regional Airport Authority (WCRAA) has accepted the resignation of Matt McVicker as
airport manager and treasurer effective April 30.
McVicker has taken a position with the City of Findlay as its airport director.
He spent nearly five years with WCRAA, starting in 2009 as a line service worker while studying at
Bowling Green State University for his undergraduate degree in Aviation Management and Operations.
Walbridge to hire clerk of council
WALBRIDGE – Village council will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the town hall to considering
hiring a clerk of court/clerk of council.
The woman who last held the position, Pam Klotz, retired in March.
