Robert M. Sterling, 29, of North Baltimore, was charged with theft/shoplifting, criminal damaging and possession of criminal tools after a 6 p.m. incident at Walmart. He was taken to jail and banned for life from all Walmart stores.

A resident in the 600 block of South Main Street told police his unlocked garage has been entered and a Milwaukee miter box and Craftsman socket set were taken. Earlier, he had reported his locked tool box in his truck was damaged and several tools were taken.

April 13 citations:
License plates, no registration, no brake lights - Charles Grater, McClure.

Domestic violence was reported during an incident between a male and female in Wayne.
An identity theft incident was reported in Custar.
April 14 citations:
Driving under suspension - David Lucas, Toledo.
Expired registration - Kevin Bull, Defiance.

Accidents occurred:
April 14
•    at Ohio 25, just south of Bishop Road. Samantha Benore, Bradner, was cited for right of way after she struck a vehicle driven by Cindy McCarthy.
•    at Pemberville Road, South of Devil's Hole Road. A trailer became detached from a vehicle, and traveled off the road.
•    at Poe Road and Carter Road. Thomas Forsyth IV, Aurora, was cited for failure to yield after striking Walter Ariss, Pemberville.

A criminal damaging incident was reported on a property in the 18000 block of Brim Road, rural Bowling Green. Items were reportedly scattered around the yard, and a grill had apparently been thrown at a vehicle.
