Blood drive Sunday
PERRYSBURG - The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greater Toledo Islamic Center, 25877 Scheider Road.

Assault suspects file for continuances
The court cases against two men arrested to felonious assault have been continued to April 29.
Austin Carlile, 25, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Loniel Robinson II, 27, of Escondido, Calif., were supposed to appear in Bowling Green Municipal Court Monday, but both men filed for continuances.
The two were arrested March 30 for allegedly hitting a man after they left a concert at the Clazel.
Both are affiliated with the band Of Mice and Men.

Library holds book sale
PEMBERVILLE - The public library is having a book sale through April 30.
The are numerous books for adults and children.
Prices are by donation.
The library is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Home entered in Risingsun
RISINGSUN - A man reportedly discovered would-be robbers in his village home April 13.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office received a report that, at around 2:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Maple Street, a man walked into his residence and discovered two males wearing black masks inside his home. They then left the residence.
The home had been rummaged through, though nothing appeared to be taken.
The incident remains under investigation.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office handled a two-vehicle crash in the 8000 block of Fostoria Road Friday.
One person was transported by Bradner EMS to Wood County Hospital.
Additional information on the 6 p.m. crash was not available.

The Ohio Highway Patrol responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch Friday at 5:24 p.m.
The incident occurred on Ohio 582 at McCutcheonville Road.
The patrol reported there was one possibly injured.
No additional information was available this morning.
